St Fidelis Basketball Club was established in 1985 and is now run independently from the parish of the same name. The club currently has more than 40 boys and girls teams registered to play in the Coburg Basketball Association, ranging in age from Under 8s to Under 20s. Basketball runs all year round, with two seasons, summer (usually school terms 4 and 1) and winter (terms 2 and 3). The club hires a range of venues for trainings such as Coburg West Primary School, Brunswick Stadium, Brunswick Secondary College and Strathmore Secondary College. Games are played on Saturdays at a range of venues around Coburg, Pascoe Vale and Preston, with the four main courts at Coburg Basketball Stadium, 25 Outlook Rd, Coburg.
